Mr Ferdinando was born in Naples in 1934. Graduated in Organic Chemistry he specialized in Physical Chemistry. He served as a Research Officer at Squibb International and Executive Officer at the America Cyanamid in the pharmaceutical sector and he soon became Sales Director. He founded the Industrial International Chemical Corporation company in 1963 which operates in the international veterinary pharmaceutical sector overseeing five production plants.
He is the president and CEO, expert in finance.
In 1985 he successfully sold all the group's activities and in the same year founded Mediterranea Italia for the tomato and olive oil production and commercialization.  Relying on the many years’ experience in the family business cultivating olive oil and tomatoes he exports in many countries around the world affirming Mediterranea Italia’s position as market leader in North America. After over thirty years of incessant activity his company today is still one of the first three exporters from Italy.
